Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0562444A1] In a multi-jointed fitting for vehicle doors or flaps, which consists of two fastening elements (1, 2), for example hinge wings or the like, connected to one another by means of a coupling member (5) and of a control member (11) connecting the two fastening elements (1, 2) to one another, and in which the fastening elements (1, 2) have fastening parts, for example hinge leaves, bearing in a sheet-like manner on the door-arrangement or flap-arrangement parts to be connected to one another in an articulated manner, namely the door or flap and body column or spar, and both the coupling member (5) and the control member (11) are connected to the fastening elements (1, 2) of the fitting so as to be pivotable about axes (6, 12) parallel to one another, it is proposed, for the subsequent compensation of production tolerances of the individual parts of the multi-jointed fitting, that, with the axes of articulation (6, 12) of the control member (11) and of the coupling member (5) being aligned parallel to one another, at least one of the two axes of articulation (6, 12) of the control member (11) and/or of the coupling member (5) is radially adjustable relative to the respective opposite axis of articulation (6, 12) of the control member (11) or coupling member (5). <IMAGE>
