Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0562469A1] The transformer is insulated by means of a plastic housing (6) against being touched. The inner surfaces (15, 16 and 17) of the housing rest on the laminate stack (1) and the baseplate (4) of the transformer in order to produce good heat transmission from the laminate stack to the housing. The housing is provided with cooling ribs (10) on its outside, in order to dissipate the heat. The housing makes it possible to assemble the transformer quickly and easily, and produces good heat dissipation. <IMAGE>
