[origin: EP0562522A1] Watch (1), in particular wristwatch, having a watch casing (3), which has a mechanical watch movement and a dial, and a basic body (2) on which the watch casing (3) is mounted capable of rotating by 180 DEG about a first axis of rotation extending essentially parallel to the dial. The basic body is constructed as a frame (2) in the form of a U. A retaining element (9) is mounted on the limbs (4, 5) of the U-frame (2) such that it can pivot about a second axis (10) of rotation extending essentially perpendicular to the first axis (13) of rotation.
