[origin: EP0562959A1] The invention relates to a data input module with electrical contacts for command- and control-installations, comprising a first (1) and a second (2) input which are intended to be subjected to an optionally variable potential difference, a plurality of contacts (3), each having a first terminal (4) connected to the first input via a first resistor (14), and a second terminal (5) connected to the second input (2), each contact being intended to open or close an electric current path between its terminals. The module also comprises detection members (7) respectively associated with the contact. Each detection member is arranged to detect the presence or absence of the flow of current between the terminals of the associated contact. A voltage regulator (10) connected to the two supply inputs (1, 2) powers the detection members and a test circuit (8, 9) for the operation of the detection members. <IMAGE>
