An umbrella-type clothes dryer consists of a frame which has a supporting column (1, 20) and a plurality of supporting arms (3, 4; 22) carrying the washing lines (5, 23), there being arranged for the protection of the washing a roof which is fastened to the umbrella-type clothes dryer and which covers the latter. A housing (7, 26) receiving at least one roll-out canopy (11, 12; 27, 28) is fastened to the frame, the said canopy (11, 12; 27, 28) forming the roof after it has been rolled out. The housing (7) is fastened to at least two supporting arms (4), and supporting arms (3) located opposite the housing (7) are designed to hold the rolled-out end of the canopy (11). Arranged in the housing (7) is a second canopy (12) which can be rolled out in the opposite direction to the first canopy (11) and for the retention of which at least one pivotable arm (14) is provided. <IMAGE>

Eine Wäschespinne besteht aus einem Gestell, das eine Tragsäule (1,20) und mehrere, die Wäscheleinen (5,23) tragende Tragarme (3,4;22) aufweist, wobei zum Schutz der Wäsche ein an der Wäschespinne befestigtes, diese überdeckendes Dach angeordnet ist. Am Gestell ist ein, wenigstens eine ausrollbare Plane (11,12;27,28) aufnehmendes Gehäuse (7,26) befestigt, welche Plane (11,12;27,28) nach deren Ausrollen das Dach bildet. Das Gehäuse (7) ist an wenigstens zwei Tragarmen (4) befestigt und dem Gehäuse (7) gegenüberliegende Tragarme (3) sind zum Halten des ausgerollten Endes der Plane (11) ausgebildet. Im Gehäuse (7) ist eine in entgegengesetzter Richtung zur ersten Plane (11) ausrollbare zweite Plane (12) angeordnet, zu deren Halterung wenigstens ein schwenkbarer Arm (14) vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
