[origin: WO9211295A1] A radiation reactive functionalized polymer comprising an isoolefin having about 4 to about 7 carbon atoms and a para-alkylstyrene, wherein a radiation reactive functional group is attached to the para-alkyl group of the para-alkylstyrene. The polymer has a substantially homogeneous compositional distribution and may be utilized in lithographic and coating applications. Also disclosed are radiation curable pressure sensitive adhesives comprising the functionalized polymer and a tackifier.

Polymère fonctionnalisé sensible au rayonnement, comprenant une isooléfine possédant entre 4 et 7 atomes de carbone environ et un para-alkylstyrène, dans lequel un groupe fonctionnel sensible au rayonnement est fixé au groupe para-alkyle du para-alkylstyrène. Le polymère possède une répartition de constituants pratiquement homogène et peut s'utiliser dans des applications de revêtement et de lithographie. L'invention décrit également des adhésifs sensibles à la pression, durcissables par rayonnement, comprenant le polymère fonctionnalisé et un agent d'adhésion.
