Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2682836A1] A semiconductor device including a plurality of interconnected integrated circuit functional blocks, including at least one amplifier block, operating at different high and ultrahigh frequencies and each comprising at least one DC voltage supply line, and a polarizing device for each block using the DC voltage of its supply line, said blocks further comprising power-tuned circuits for ultrahigh frequency operating ranges. Said semiconductor device is characterized in that it includes means for integrating all the high and ultrahigh frequency functional blocks onto a single substrate, and for providing a DC power supply to all the functional blocks at a single DC voltage value and through a single DC voltage supply line which is common to all blocks. Said means include frequency stabilizing circuits acting individually on each amplifier block as well as on the common DC voltage supply line, and further include self-polarizing circuits constituting the polarizing devices for each block using said single DC voltage. The semiconductor device may be used in the field of telecommunications and on-board circuits.
