This invention relates to a gas blowing plate brick or nozzle brick for a molten metal ejector, characterized in that the plate brick or nozzle brick is divided into at least two segments in the horizontal direction with a plurality of small-diameter pipes arranged fixedly in a sealed state in the dividing surfaces. Each brick is capable of preventing the leakage of a gas blown into the above-mentioned kind of apparatus, and carrying out a stable casting operation, and renders it unnecessary to carry out troublesome, expensive additional steps, such as a brick cutting step, a brick boring step and a brick connecting step. <IMAGE>

Brique à nez ou brique de répartition pour le soufflage de gaz dans un éjecteur de métal en fusion, caractérisées en ce qu'elles sont divisées horizontalement en au moins deux segments, un ensemble de conduites de petit diamètre étant fixées et scellées sur les surfaces de division. Chacune de ces briques empêche la fuite d'un gaz soufflé dans l'installation susmentionnée, permet d'effectuer une opération de coulée stable, et rend superflues les coûteuses étapes supplémentaires, telles que l'étape de découpage, l'étape de perçage et l'étape de jonction des briques.
