[origin: EP0563460A1] Aqueous bleaching compositions are disclosed which comprise hydrogen peroxide as well as an organic peracid precursor selected from a specific class of glycol and glycerin esters. The compositions have a pH in the range of from about 3.5 to about 6. The disclosed compositions are both physically and chemically stable.
