Abstract (en)
A safety ring (1) consisting of a ring of U-shaped cross-section formed by backs (2) and flanges (3) and of a clamping closure (4, 5) fixed to the ends of the ring. The technical problem is to provide a safety ring which has a restoring capacity upon deformation so that a tight seal of the closure or of the vessel is always guaranteed. The ring has transverse incisions (6) which allow deformation and restoration. <IMAGE>

Ein Sicherheitsring (1) aus einen durch Rücken (2) und Flansche (3) gebildetem Ring mit U-förmigem Querschnitt und aus einem an den Enden des Ringes befestigten Spannverschluß (4,5). Das technische Problem ist die Bereitstellung eines Sicherheitsrings, der bei Verformung eine Rückstellfähigkeit hat, so daß in jedem Fall eine Dichtigkeit des Verschlusses bzw. des Fasses gewährleistet ist. Der Ring hat Quereinschnitte (6), die eine Verformung und Rückstellung zulassen. <IMAGE>
