Abstract (en)
The subject of the invention is a ski comprising a first subassembly or base (1) having its own stiffness distribution and a second, upper, subassembly or stiffener (2) connected to the base by flexible and/or partially rigid linking means. The stiffener (2) comprises two parts (20, 21) which are separated and spaced from each other by a short distance (d) when the ski is at rest. The two parts (20, 21) interact with each other when the ski is stressed in bending under certain conditions of operation so as to increase the stiffness of the ski. <IMAGE>

L'invention a pour objet un ski comprenant un premier sous-ensemble ou embase (1) ayant sa propre distribution de raideur et un second sous-ensemble supérieur ou raidisseur (2) lié à l'embase par des moyens de liaisons souples et/ou partiellement rigides. Le raidisseur (2) comprend deux parties (20, 21) séparées et espacées l'une de l'autre d'une faible distance (d) lorsque le ski est au repos. Les deux parties (20, 21) coopèrent entre elles lorsque le ski est sollicité en flexion dans certaines conditions de fonctionnement de façon à augmenter la raideur du ski. <IMAGE>
