[origin: EP0563681A1] Draw gear for rail vehicles consists essentially of a housing (1) which is provided with an attachment flange (1a) and of a spring (2) which lies in the said housing (1) and is supported in the towing direction, and of a connection element (3) for connecting the spring (2) to a drawbar hook (4). The drawbar hook (4) has on its shaft (4a) an eye (4b) for receiving a bolt (5) which interacts with the connecting element (3). Changing the wearing parts, the drawbar hook (4) and bolt (5) is to be made easy without the drawbar gear having to be removed from the vehicle. In order to achieve this, the bolt (5) is arranged behind the spring (2) and can be installed and removed through an opening (1b) on the underside of the housing (1), the opening (1b) being closed by a cover (1c) which holds the bolt (5) and is releasably attached to the housing (1). <IMAGE>
