[origin: EP0564370A1] The invention relates to a packaging device, in particular for cosmetic products, composed of a pot-shaped body and a lid hinged thereon. It includes an operating member (3) rotationally mounted on the body (1), and including an inclined ramp-shaped part (17), the lid (2) including, in the vicinity of its hinging (7, 8, 11, 12) onto the body, a tongue (13) which engages in vertical guide means (9) provided in the wall (4a, 4b) of the body (1), the tongue (13) being linked in vertical translation with the ramp-shaped part (17) of the said operating member (3), such that a rotational movement of the operating member (3) with respect to the body (1) and to the said tongue (13) causes a guided translational movement of the tongue (13) in the wall (4a, 4b) of the body (1), and the tilting of the lid (2) about its spindle (7) hinging it onto the body (1). <IMAGE>
