Device for the alternate feeding of different lengths of material from a supply of material to a processing installation, with a threading device (5) which can be swivelled out of a pick-up position by means of a working cylinder (15) into an insertion position determined by the working line (L) of the processing installation, the said threading device being provided with a feed roller which can be driven in both directions of rotation and with a contact-pressure roller which can be moved relative to the feed roller and is intended to press on the forward end of the length of material, with a clamping turret (7) which can be pivoted about a horizontal pivot axis (8) by means of a pivoting drive (22, 23, 24) and is provided with a plurality of clamping devices (27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32) arranged on a circular arc around the pivot axis and intended to accept the forward end (E) of in each case one length of material from the threading device in the working line (L), and with a straightening unit arranged in the working line on the output side of the threading device and the clamping turret and having at least one straightening device with adjustable straightening rollers. <IMAGE>

Vorrichtung zum alternativen Zuführen verschiedener Materialstränge von einem Materialvorrat zu einer Verarbeitungsanlage, mit einer aus einer Aufnahmestellung mittels eines Arbeitszylinders (15) in eine durch die Arbeitslinie (L) der Verarbeitungsanlage bestimmte Einführstellung schwenkbaren Einfädeleinrichtung (5), die mit einer in beiden Drehrichtungen antreibbaren Vorschubwalze und einer relativ zur Vorschubwalze bewegbaren Anpreßrolle für das vordere Materialstrangende versehen ist, mit einem um eine horizontale Schwenkachse (8) mittels eines Schwenkantriebes (22, 23, 24) schwenkbaren Klemmrevolver (7), der mit mehreren, auf einem Kreisbogen um die Schwenkachse angeordneten Klemmeinrichtungen (27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32) zur Übernahme des vorderen Endes jeweils eines Materialstrangendes (E) von der Einfädeleinrichtung in der Arbeitslinie (L) versehen ist, und einer der Einfädeleinrichtung und dem Klemmrevolver in der Arbeitslinie nachgeschalteten Richteinheit mit zumindest einer Richteinrichtung mit verstellbaren Richtrollen. <IMAGE>
