[origin: WO9308556A1] An article display device (10) comprises an article support bracket (12) including a pair of longitudinally space transverse arms (16) with depending parallel legs (17) whose bottoms are formed by a longitudinal casing (13) with a bottom longitudinal slot (26). A longitudinal spool (46) spring biased to rotate in a rewind direction is housed in the casing and the inner end of an information carrying web (14) is secured to the spool and the web extends through the slot and terminates in a pull member (57) and is urged to a withdrawn position by the spring biased spool. Mounting members (15) of different constructions are separably connected to the rear faces (37) of the bracket arms and permit the mounting of the device to different supports (11) or may be connected to the casing.

Un dispositif de présentation d'un article (10) comprend un support (12) dudit article comportant une paire de bras transversaux (16) espacés dans le sens de la longueur et pourvus de faces parallèles (17) dont les parties inférieures sont constituées d'un boîtier longitudinal (13) possédant une fente inférieure longitudinale (26). Une bobine longitudinale (46) sollicitée par ressort, de façon à effectuer une rotation dans un sens de rebobinage, est logée à l'intérieur du boîtier, et l'extrémité intérieure d'une bande (14) portant l'information à afficher, est fixée à la bobine; ladite bande s'étend à travers la fente et se termine par un élément de traction (57); la bobine sollicitée par ressort permet de faire revenir la bande vers une position rentrée. Des éléments de montage (15) de types différents sont fixés séparément sur les faces arrière (37) des bras de support et permettent de monter le dispositif sur différents supports (11); lesdits éléments de montage peuvent également être fixés au boîtier.
