The invention relates to an interface device between a ski and front and rear binding elements (3) and (4) which are intended to retain the ends of a boot on the ski. The device comprises a plate (13), the central part (14) of which is elongate and extends above the upper surface of the ski, in the zone of the runner (block). A first end (15) of the plate is secured to the ski and a second end (16) is linked to the ski by means of a block of shock-absorbing material (17) sandwiched between the end of the plate and the ski. The block of shock-absorbing material is preferably designed to work in compression and in shear. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un dispositif interface entre un ski et des éléments de fixation avant et arrière (2) et (3) qui sont destinés à retenir les extrémités d'une chaussure sur le ski. Le dispositif comprend une plaque (13), dont la partie centrale (14) est allongée et s'étend au-dessus de la surface supérieure du ski, dans la zone du patin. Une première extrémité (15) de la plaque est solidarisée au ski, et une seconde extrémité (16) est liée au ski par l'intermédiaire d'un bloc de matériau amortissant (17) monté en sandwich entre l'extrémité de la plaque et le ski. De préférence, le bloc de matériau amortissant est prévu pour travailler à la compression et au cisaillement. <IMAGE>
