In a centrifuge with rotor arms which can rotate about a common central shaft, the said arms having the purpose of holding cartridge receptacles, for the sake of better controllability each cartridge receptacle is provided with a blocking stop and an axially movable locking device is arranged on the rotor, which locking device can be moved into two switching positions. In one switching position a counterstop is effective which interacts with the blocking stop of the cartridge receptacle and prevents a pivoting movement of the cartridge receptacle. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Zentrifuge mit um eine gemeinsame zentrale Welle drehbaren Rotorarmen zur Halterung von Kassettenaufnahmen (14,15) ist zur besseren Bedienbarkeit jede Kassettenaufnahme (14,15) mit einem Sperranschlag (23,24) ausgestattet und am Rotor (7) eine axial bewegbare Sperreinrichtung (17,19,21) angeordnet, die in zwei Schaltstellungen bewegt werden kann. In der einen Schaltstellung wird ein Gegenanschlag wirksam, der mit dem Sperranschlag (23,24) der Kassettenaufnahme (14,15) zusammenwirkt und eine Schwenkbewegung der Kassettenaufnahme (14,15) verhindert. <IMAGE>
