[origin: JPH0616246A] PURPOSE: To provide a feed table in the vicinity of a side lay of a sheet-fed printing press for satisfying an adjustment of a book size by effectively guiding sheets. CONSTITUTION: A closed table cover is disposed between a region 14 covering a table center of a feed table and a side lay 4. A compressible and/or expandable region is provided in a lateral moving direction of the lay 4, a support member 9 for forming a predetermined sheet guide surface is provided. The member 9 can be adjusted at a position in the lateral moving direction of the lay 4, and means for adjusting a position of the member 9 in response to the compressing or expanding state of the region is provided.
