[origin: EP0564891A1] 2.1 The glazing, which consists of one or more panes, of a field of a façade, which field is delimited by profiled rails, is to be made in such a manner that additional coupling profiles arranged between the glazing and the façade profiles can be dispersed with and that low requirements are to be made on the surface of the fastening side of the façade profiles for the connection to the glazing. 2.2 The glazing (1) is connected directly to the façade profiles (4) by a silicone adhesive (13), the fastening surfaces (5) of the façade profiles (4) having grooves (6, 7, 8) which are provided with undercuts and filled with silicone adhesive (13). 2.3 The glazed façade is used in constructing buildings. <IMAGE>
