Abstract (en)
A structural element (1, 1a to 1f) according to the invention is used for producing contours of prefabricated building units. The structural element essentially comprises two bar-shaped individual elements (2) arranged in parallel to each other. Said individual elements can be connected to each other on a longitudinal edge (8 or 9), by means of the axis (4a), with the aid of a folding hinge which is oriented with its axis parallel to the longitudinal axes of the individual elements. At the ends of the individual elements (2) there are located, at right angles to the folding hinge, connection hinges having the axes (7a) for connecting to neighbouring structural elements (1). In the connecting region of neighbouring structural elements, the hinge axes (4a, 7a) intersect outside the individual elements (2) in a common axis centre (11). By this type of connection and the construction of the structural element, a movable, cardan connection joint is formed, in which virtually any angular arrangements may be assigned to the structural elements connected to one another. <IMAGE>

Ein erfindungsgemäßes Bauelement (1, 1 a bis 1 f) dient zur Herstellung von Baukörperkonturen. Das Bauelement besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei parallel zueinander angeordneten, stabförmigen Einzelelementen (2). Diese sind an einer Längskante (8 oder 9) durch ein mit seiner Achse parallel zu den Längsachsen der Einzelelemente orientiertes Klappscharnier mit der Achse (4 a) miteinander verbindbar. An den Stirnenden der Einzelelemente (2) befinden sich rechtwinklig zu dem Klappscharnier Anschlußscharniere mit den Achsen (7 a) zum Verbinden mit benachbarten Bauelementen (1). Im Verbindungsbereich benachbarter Bauelemente schneiden sich die Scharnierachsen (4 a, 7 a) außerhalb der Einzelelemente (2) in einem gemeinsamen Achsenzentrum (11). Durch diese Art der Verbindung und den Aufbau des Bauelementes ist ein beweglicher kardanischer Verbindungsknoten gebildet, bei dem praktisch beliebige Winkelzuordnungen der miteinander verbundenen Bauelemente eingestellt werden können. <IMAGE>
