Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0564909A1] A process for the production of colour-photographic images by treating a colour-photographic silver halide material by the steps of (a) exposure, (b) development with a colour developer, (c) plating with H2O2 or a compound releasing H2O2, (d) bleaching and fixing or bleach-fixing or fixing without bleaching, or stabilising, (e) washing if appropriate and (f) drying, it being possible for the steps (b) and (c) to be combined into one step, and the colour-photographic silver halide material containing, on a base, at least one blue-sensitive, yellow-coupling silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive, magenta-coupling silver halide emulsion layer and at least one red-sensitive, cyan-coupling silver halide emulsion layer and also non-photosensitive interlayers between the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers of different spectral sensitisation, and, in these interlayers, compounds in a quantity of 0.02 to 1.0 mmol/m<2> which are incorporated in the layer to be resistant to diffusion and react with the developer oxidation product to give products which do not impart a lasting coloration to the material, gives colour images of improved colour purity.
