[origin: EP0564977A1] To achieve dwell periods during the run-up phase, the run-up control system for the pressure cheek has a pressure cylinder (10) with pressure chambers (12, 14) and has a control piston (11) which is fixed in position in the control cylinder (10) by means of a piston rod (42), a stop (34) and an adjustable stop (33) when pressure is admitted to pressure chamber (14). Pressure chamber (12) is connected continuously in terms of flow to a pressure chamber which decreases as the pressure cheek is run up, the volume of the pressure chamber (14) thus determining the point in time of the dwell period in the run-up phase of the pressure cheek. <IMAGE>
