[origin: EP0565780A2] In a cleaning apparatus for textile machines, there is provided a first travelling cleaner 4 having a shuttle-shaped suction pipe 3 engaging in a stationary suction channel 1 which is sealed off by two sealing lips bearing against the suction pipe 3. When a machine standstill occurs in a textile machine, this first travelling cleaner 4 then cleans only the textile machines arranged in front of this stationary textile machine. In order also to achieve a cleaning of the textile machines arranged behind the stationary textile machine, there is provided a second travelling cleaner 4 which is essentially identical to the first travelling cleaner 4 and which likewise engages with its suction pipe 3 into the suction channel 1. The two ends of the suction channel 1 are each connected to a blower 10. Furthermore, a partition wall 12 movable along the suction channel 1 is provided inside the suction channel 1 between the two travelling cleaners 4. <IMAGE>
