Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0610235A] PURPOSE: To reduce the wear and tear on a driving element and driven ones by distributing drive forces conventionally transmitted to a gripper rod with only one driving pinion over two driving pinions simultaneously meshing with the gripper rod. CONSTITUTION: This gear drive has plate cams 9, 10 continuously rotating on a driving side which cause an oscillating back and forth movement of a sector wheel 17. Pinions 4,5 meshing with the sector wheel are installed together with a continuous transmission train on a driving side of a transmission train changing its rotational direction. The first and second output drive shafts 6, 7 are installed on an output side and are equipped with driving pinions for a weft threading mechanism.
