Um einen auch hohe Lasten und große Beschleunigungsmomente bewältigenden Antrieb für Seilaufzüge mit einem elektrischen Antriebsmotor, der mit einer Treibscheibe gekuppelt ist, zu schaffen, welcher platzsparend in vorhandenen Maschinenräumen untergebracht werden kann, ist der Antriebsmotor 10 durch Zusammenschaltung mehrerer Elektromotoren 11, 12 gebildet. Außerdem ist eine Gleichlaufregelung vorgesehen, welche eine Synchronisation der Elektromotoren durchführt. <IMAGE>
