A socket for a power-driven screwdriver for tightening or loosening screws or nuts, consisting of a head piece (21) of lightweight material with a polygonal working surface (24) for the screws or nuts and of a coupling part (22) of lightweight material with a driving section (27) for the drive, is distinguished by the fact that the working surface of the head piece (21) is made of a hard material of greater hardness and/or toughness than the lightweight material, and that the driving section (27) of the coupling part (22) is also formed from a hard material of greater hardness and/or toughness than the lightweight material. These features give a lightweight socket great stability. <IMAGE>

Eine Nuß für ein drehend angetriebenes Verschraubungsgerät zum Anziehen oder Lösen von Schrauben oder Muttern, bestehend aus einem Kopfstück (21) aus Leichtbauwerkstoff mit einer mehrkantigen Angriffsfläche (24) für die Schrauben oder Muttern und aus einem Kupplungsteil (22) aus Leichtbauwerkstoff mit einer Mitnahmeprofilierung (27) für den Antrieb, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die Angriffsfläche des Kopfstückes (21) aus Hartmaterial größerer Härte und/oder Zähigkeit als der Leichtbauwerkstoff besteht, und daß auch die Mitnahmeprofilierung (27) des Kupplungsteiles (22) aus Hartmaterial größerer Härte und/oder Zähigkeit als der Leichtbauwerkstoff gebildet ist. Diese Merkmale verleihen einer Leichtbaunuß große Stabilität. <IMAGE>
