[origin: EP0565929A1] A motor-vehicle door lock, bonnet lock or flap lock, with a lock latch 3 displaceable out of an opening position into a catch position, with a detent pawl 4 keeping the lock latch 3 in the catch position by engagement, and with a locking bolt 12 behind which the lock latch 3 engages in the catch position, in which lock the locking bolt 12 is mounted rotatably about an axis 15 arranged eccentrically to its mid-axis 14 and is rotatable by means of an auxiliary motor about the axis 15 between a pre-locking position and a main locking position, can be opened motively, even without a special technical outlay, if the detent pawl 4 can be released from engagement with the lock latch 3 by means of a force effect derived from the rotation of the locking bolt 12 out of the main locking position in the direction of the pre-locking position, and the lock latch 3 can thus be released. In particular, this is achieved by means of a control flange 16 which, in the main locking position, is located just in front of or exactly in bearing contact with a control face 17 of the detent pawl 4. <IMAGE>
