Hot air fan (blower) comprising a housing (1), an electrical heating resistance element (2), a motorised fan unit (3) intended to create a flow of air between a cold air intake (4) and a hot air exit nozzle (5), as well as an additional heating means (6) including a ceramic element capable of emitting an infrared radiation of particular wavelength when it is heated to a certain temperature. According to the invention, the appliance includes a device for visualising the infrared radiation of particular wavelength. The invention relates, in particular, to hair-drying appliances. <IMAGE>

Appareil de soufflage d'air chaud comprenant un boîtier (1), une résistance chauffante électrique (2), un groupe motoventilateur (3) destiné à créer un courant d'air entre une entrée (4) d'air froid et une buse (5) de sortie d'air chaud, ainsi qu'un moyen additionnel de chauffage (6) comportant un élément céramique susceptible d'émettre un rayonnement infrarouge de longueur d'onde particulière lorsqu'il est porté à une certaine température, Selon l'invention, l'appareil comporte un dispositif de visualisation du rayonnement infrarouge de longueur d'onde particulière. L'invention se rapporte notamment aux appareils à sécher les cheveux. <IMAGE>
