[origin: EP0566489A1] The invention relates to electric fence tapes. The tape is produced by surrounding a central strip 9 of extruded plastic with one or more conductors 8, 12 wound in a flattened helicoid. The conductors 8, 12 may be of different metals, in order to make it possible to combine better electrical conductivity with better mechanical strength. The central strip 9 may itself be conducting. These electrical tapes can be used for manufacturing netting for electric fences. <IMAGE>
