[origin: WO9308370A1] A shield tail seal (7) for advance shields has a base body (2) made of an elastomer material inclined in the opposite direction to the advance direction and having a substantially rectangular cross-section in the longitudinal direction. At its sliding end, a sealing nose (12) is formed on the inner side (11) of its sliding end and resiliently presses in its operating state against the outer side (4) of the tunnel facing. A holding means (8) that extends substantially in the center of the base body (2) is fastened to a holder (10) arranged on the shield tail (9). The essential aspect of the invention consists in the arrangement of at least one sealing lip (14) on the outer side (13) of the upper area of the base body (2) adjacent to the shield tail (9). The nose (18) of the sealing lip (14) projects in its mounting state over the outer surface (19) of the shield tail (9) or shield casing.

Une garniture d'étanchéité (7) pour queues de boucliers de creusement comprend un corps de base (2) en un matériau élastomère incliné en sens contraire au sens d'avancement et ayant une section transversale sensiblement rectangulaire dans le sens longitudinal. Du côté intérieur (11) de son extrémité glissante est façonné un talon d'étanchéité (12) qui s'appuie élastiquement dans son état de fonctionnement sur la face extérieure (4) du revêtement du tunnel. Un organe de retenue (8) qui s'étend sensiblement au centre du corps de base (2) est assujetti à une retenue (10) située sur la queue (9) du bouclier. L'aspect essentiel de cette invention réside dans le fait que le corps de base (2) présente de son côté extérieur (13) au moins une lèvre d'étanchéité (14) située dans sa zone supérieure adjacente à la queue (9) du bouclier. Lorsque cette lèvre d'étanchéité (14) est montée, son talon (18) fait saillie au-dessus de la surface extérieure (19) de la queue (9) ou de l'enveloppe du bouclier.
