Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0567411A1] The cross-member (4) joins together the two headers (2,3) of the radiator and extends along one side (22) of the bundle of tubes (1). Various sequences of holes, distributed along the cross-member, allow it to be fastened to one (3) of the headers at different locations, in order to obtain radiators with different heights. Flaps (28,29) cut out from the base of the cross-member can be folded towards the bundle in order to block the passage of air between the latter and the base, when the fastening location used is different from the one furthest from the end of the cross-member. <IMAGE>
