Abstract (en)
The display apparatus has a plurality of prisms (1), which can be rotated about their longitudinal axes (2). The prisms (1) are light-permeable and bear parts of images or information items on their outer surfaces (9, 10). Each prism (1) has internal illumination in the form of a fluorescent tube (8), which does not rotate with the prism (1). The fluorescent tubes (8) are longer than the prisms and are passed through the bearings (13, 14) and supported at only one end, in order to be able to compensate for dimensional differences. The lower bearings (14) of the prisms (1) comprise first and second means for, respectively, the coarse and fine adjustment of the position of the prisms (1) and have a releasable, positive-fitting connection (36, 37) to the prisms (1). The upper bearings (13) of the prisms (1) are detachable and allow movements of the prisms (1) towards their longitudinal axis (2). The prisms (1) and the fluorescent tubes (8) are easy to remove from the housing (45) and also easy to replace. <IMAGE>

Die Anzeigevorrichtung weist eine Vielzahl von Prismen (1) auf, welche um ihre Längsachsen (2) drehbar sind. Die Prismen (1) sind lichtdurchlässig und tragen auf ihren Mantelflächen (9, 10) Teile von Bildern oder Informationen. Jedes Prisma (1) hat eine Innenbeleuchtung in der Form einer Leuchtstoffröhre (8), welche sich nicht mit dem Prisma (1) dreht. Die Leuchtstoffröhren (8) sind länger als die Prismen und durch die Lager (13, 14) hindurchgeführt und nur an einem Ende abgestützt um Massdifferenzen ausgleichen zu können. Die unteren Lager (14) der Prismen (1) umfassen erste und zweite Mittel zur Grob-, bzw. Feineinstellung der Position der Prismen (1) und verfügen über eine lösbare formschlüssige Verbindung (36, 37) zu den Prismen (1). Die obere Lager (13) der Prismen (1) sind lösbar und lassen Bewegungen der Prismen (1) in Richtung ihrer Längsachse (2) zu. Die Prisen (1) und die Leuchtstoffröhren (8) sind leicht aus dem Gehäuse (45) ausbaubar und auch leicht wieder einbaubar. <IMAGE>
