[origin: WO9212902A1] This invention relates to a method for fabricating a reinforced tube made of cardboard and metal characterized in that said tube is obtained by convolute or spiral rolling of at least one thick metal strip (2) previously pasted down to at least one cardboard band (4). The tubes made according to such method may be used particularly in all pyrotechnical applications, but are also used for making mandrels, cylindrical boxes, colonnades with or without external decorations, various furniture units, shelvings, safes, or cans.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un tube renforcé en carton et métal, caractérisé en ce que ledit tube est obtenu par roulage convolute ou spiralé d'au moins une bande métallique (2) épaisse préalablement contrecollée sur au moins une bande de carton (4). Les tubes réalisés selon ce procédé peuvent notamment servir dans toutes les applications pyrotechniques, mais sont également utilisés pour la réalisation de mandrins, de boîtages cylindriques, de colonnades avec ou sans décorations extérieures, de mobiliers divers, d'étagères, de coffre, ou encore de boîtes de conserve.
