[origin: EP0567797A1] The invention relates to a device for tilting printing plates on the plate cylinder of printing machines, particularly offset sheet printing machines, in which a tensioning bar (3) can be tilted at the leading edge, which tensioning bar is arranged in the gap of the plate cylinder (1) and is supported on a wall via a plurality of tensioning screws (4). The tensioning screws (4) have different thread pitches in accordance with their spacing transversely to the printing direction and can be turned jointly through the same angle via an adjusting rod (9) and lever arms (10).
