[origin: EP0567906A1] In a device for adjusting a doctor blade carrier against an ink- releasing cylinder of a rotary web printing machine, the object is to handle and attach a doctor blade carrier by simple means. <??>According to the invention, provision is made for doctor blade carrier holders (22, 23) to be arranged with lifting strips (44, 46), located on guide surfaces and extending in a wedge shape in cross-section, for receiving and adjusting doctor blade carriers which are fed via a horizontally extending guide rail and can be adjusted relative to the screen roller (1) by a clamping and adjusting device (19, 21) in that the lifting strips (44, 46) are operatively connected to edges arranged on the counter-strips (50, 55) of the doctor blade carriers. <IMAGE>
