[origin: EP0567908A1] In a device for securing and adjusting a doctor blade carrier against an ink-releasing cylinder of a rotary web printing machine, the object is to handle and secure a doctor blade carrier and to adjust it against the ink-releasing cylinder by simple means. <??>According to the invention, a rotatable clamping body is arranged on a doctor blade carrier holder (22, 23) which is fixed to the frame, said clamping body pressing the doctor blade carrier (9-13) against the doctor blade carrier holder (22-23). In this case, the doctor blade carrier is simultaneously adjusted against the screen roller (1) via wedge-shaped strips and counter-strips (50, 55). When the doctor blade carrier is removed, it can be set down on the clamping body which as a result of rotation forms an extended rest with its lever (29). <IMAGE>
