[origin: EP0568086A1] A peep sight has a cross carriage (10, 11) which consists of a front sight part (11) and a rear sight part (10); a plurality of spring elements (20 - 23) are provided which have pairs of leaf springs which provide guidance in the Y-direction and Z-direction, and which spring elements guide the cross carriage (10, 11) in its adjustment directions (Y, Z) at right angles to the optical axis (x) without play. The pair of leaf springs (20, 21) which provide guidance in the Y-direction are fixed at the rear end to a peep-sight housing (1, 2) and at the front end to the front sight part (11), and the pair of leaf springs (22, 23) which provide guidance in the Z-direction are fixed on the rear sight part (10) and on the front sight part (11).
