[origin: EP0568434A1] In a steam generator used in a nuclear reactor, the feed of secondary water takes place by at least one nozzle (48) which opens directly into the bottom of an annular recirculation space (32) formed between the external casing (10) and an internal casing (26) surrounding inverted U-shaped tubes (24), on the side of the cold branches of these tubes. A perforated collar (56) placed in the annular space (32), above the nozzle (48), creates a loss of head or a flow limitation which prevents the rising of the feed water and controls the circumferential distribution of the recirculation water which descends from the separators (28). <IMAGE>
