Abstract (en)

The invention relates to a circuit for detecting current leaks in a bit line of an electrically programmable read-only memory. It comprises essentially a current generator 2 and a means 8 for applying zero volts to the grid of all the cells of the bit line. The detection information is delivered by a comparison circuit 1. It corresponds to the result of the comparison between the test current and the current flowing through the bit line. Advantageously, the detection circuit is incorporated in the memory read-out circuit. The invention also relates to the associated detection method and a memory circuit including such a detection circuit. <IMAGE>
