[origin: EP0568495A2] For swivelling lamellar plates (3.1, 3.2), a scalene articulated rectangle (4.1, 6.1, 8.1, 6.2) is used, the first side of which is formed on a stationary support (4.1). The third side (8.1) of the articulated rectangle, which lies opposite the first side, defines the swivelling angle of the plate (3.1) which is connected firmly to it. In order that the swivelling mechanism is self-closing even in the case of a vertical lamellar front, the plate (3.1) is, with the aid of a distance element (8), connected to the swivelling side (8.1) at a given minimum distance therefrom. As a result, a torque generated by the dead weight of the plate (3.1) acts on the swivellable side (8.1) of the articulated rectangle, which torque guarantees the self-closing. <IMAGE>
