[origin: WO9311365A1] A speed nut including two mutually hinged jaws, wherein each jaw is hollow on the inside and has half a tapping on one portion of its length and half a tapered recess on the other portion. Both jaws (1) are detachably assembled by means of pins (21,22) on which a ring (24) is slidable. One pin (22) is half as long as the other (21).

Ecrou rapide du type comprenant deux machoires articulées l'une sur l'autre, chacune des mâchoires étant intérieurement creuse et présentant, sur une partie de sa longueur un demi-taraudage, et sur l'autre partie une demi-cavité tronconique, les deux mâchoires (1) sont assemblées d'une manière amovible au moyen de tourillons (21, 22) sur lesquels coulisse une bague (24), le tourillon (22) étant de longueur égale à la moitié du tourillon (21).
