[origin: WO9212863A1] The invention concerns a device for correcting errors in written matter, the device comprising a container (1), designed to hold corrector fluid (2) and fitted with a closure cap (3), and an applicator rod (4), made preferably of plastic, fixed inside the cap (3). When not in use, the applicator rod is kept inside the container (1), at least partly covered by the corrector fluid (2). The free end of the applicator rod (4) has a fluid application zone(5) over which a layer (11) of, in particular bristle-shaped, fluff is fixed. The applicator rod (4) is made of material which does not swell on contact with the corrector fluid. The agent used to fix the layer (11) to the fluid-application zone (5) has substantially constant adhesive power, even when the applicator is used or stored for a long period.
