Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a veneering machine, particularly for veneering parts made of wood or other material, having a flat or variously shaped profile. The machine comprises a main structure supporting a liquid containment vat (3) which is closed upwardly by an elastically deformable membrane (4). The main structure slidably supports, along a substantially vertical direction, a closure surface (11) movable under control towards or away from the upper face of the vat and lockable in a position in which it rests against the upper edge of the vat. The machine is provided with means (29) for introducing a pressurized liquid into the vat to produce an increase in the pressure of the liquid contained in the vat, with a consequent deformation of the membrane so that it fits tightly, by pressure, to the membrane-facing surface of a part (33) to be veneered, interposed between the membrane and the closure surface. <IMAGE>
