Abstract (en)
In a process for manufacturing briquettes of predetermined composition, a product fraction, a carbon fraction of coke and, if appropriate, an additive fraction are briquetted with the aid of a bituminous binder to give green briquettes and these are heat-treated in a rotary kiln which is filled with a bed of granular heat carriers and into which gas burners burn and from which flue gas is extracted. With the aid of the bituminous binder, green briquettes are formed by pressing from the granular product fraction and the granular carbon fraction and, if appropriate, the finely dispersed additive fraction. The rotary kiln is provided with a granular bed charge whose composition corresponds to that of the green briquettes with respect to the granular product fraction and with respect to the granular carbon fraction. The granular bed charge is enriched with the material abraded from the green briquettes during the heat treatment. The granular heat carriers of the granular bed charge are circulated together with the material abraded from the green briquettes between the charging side and discharge side of the rotary kiln. Any excess resulting from the take-up of the abraded material is taken off. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Produkt-Briketts einer vorgegebenen Brikettzusammensetzung mit einen Produktanteil, einem Kohlenstoffanteil aus Koks und gegebenenfalls einem Zusatzstoffanteil, die mit Hilfe eines bituminösen Bindemittels zu Grün-Briketts brikettiert und in einem Drehrohrofen mit einer Kornbettfüllung aus körnigen Wärmeträgern, in den Gasbrenner hineinbrennen und aus dem Rauchgas abgezogen wird, wärmebehandelt werden. Aus dem körnigen Produktanteil und dem körnigen Kohlenstoffanteil sowie gegebenenfalls dein feinteiligen Zusatzstoffanteil werden mit Hilfe des bituminösen Bindemittels Grün-Briketts durch Pressen geformt. Der Drehrohrofen wird mit einer Kornbettfüllung versehen, deren Zusammensetzung der Zusammensetzung der Grün-Briketts in bezug auf den körnigen Produktanteil sowie in bezug auf den körnigen Kohlenstoffanteil entspricht. Die Kornbettfüllung wird fit dem Abrieb der Grün-Briketts bei der Wärmebehandlung angereichert. Die körnigen Wärmeträger der Kornbettfüllung werden min dem Abrieb der Grün-Briketts im Kreislauf zwischen Aufgabeseite und Abgabeseite des Drehrohrofens geführt. Ein durch die Aufnahme des Abriebs enstehender Überschuß wird abgezogen. <IMAGE>
