In a cloth-laying machine (1) with a laying carriage (4) which is movable to and fro above a laying surface (2), carries a cloth supply (7), especially a cloth roll, arranged above it preferably approximately in the longitudinal centre, and has a draw-off table (5), arranged below the cloth supply (7) and extending from this in the direction of movement of the cloth web, and a draw-off device (9), the draw-off table (5) is assigned at least one air nozzle (23) which is directed in the approximately horizontal direction of movement of the cloth web and which is arranged at the rear of the point (49) at which the cloth-web portion (19) to be supplied passes onto the draw-off table (5), and the air stream (24) of which is directed between the table surface (18) and the cloth-web portion. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Stofflegemaschine (1) mit einem Legewagen (4), der über einer Legefläche (2) hin und her verfahrbar ist, einen über ihm vorzugsweise etwa in der Längsmitte angeordneten Stoffvorrat (7), insbesondere eine Stoffrolle, trägt, und einen unterhalb des Stoffvorrats (7) angeordneten und sich davon in die Bewegungsrichtung der Stoffbahn erstreckenden Abzugtisch (5) sowie eine Abzugvorrichtung (9) aufweist, ist dem Abzugtisch (5) wenigstens eine in die etwa horizontale Bewegungsrichtung der Stoffbahn gerichtete Luftdüse (23) zugeordnet ist, die rückseitig, von der Stelle (49), an der der zuzuführende Stoffbahnabschnitt (19) auf den Abzugtisch (5) gelangt, angeordnet ist und deren Luftstrom (24) zwischen die Tischfläche (18) und den Stoffbahnabschnitt gerichtet ist. <IMAGE>
