The lifting equipment consists of a telescopic jib 1 which is articulated at the rear of the chassis and arranged substantailly along the median longitudinal axis of the vehicle; the chassis consists of two orthogonal beams 11, 12: a longitudinal beam 11 carrying, at the rear, the bracket 16 of the lifting jib 1, and a transverse beam 12 which is fixed to the longitudinal beam 11 and carries the front wheels 8; at least on one side of the longitudinal beam 11, to the rear of the transverse beam 12, and in front of the rear wheel or wheels 9, the chassis has a floor 20 which is laterally open outwards and which supports at least one removable box structure 5, 7 for electric batteries 6. <IMAGE>
