[origin: CA2095419A1] A-19079/A/CGC1615 3,9-BIS(DIALKYLAMINO)-2,4,8,10-TETRAOXA-3,9-DIPHOSPHA- SPIRO¢5.5!UNDECANES AND STABILIZED COMPOSITIONS Compounds of formula I (I) wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each 2-ethylhexyl or are independently higher alkyl, or R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen or methyl, and R3 and R4 are independently higher alkyl are effective processing stabilizers for polymers processed at elevated temperatures by preventing polymer degradation and providing resistance to discoloration. The compounds of formula I also exhibit superior hydrolytic stability and resist moisture pickup on storage.
