[origin: WO9212859A1] The material consists of a sheet, a strip or a web (1) acting as a temporary support for a thin coating film (4) which is releasably mounted by an adhesive on the surface to be printed (3). The adhesive is applied to the surfaces to be coated and the coating layer is stuck thereto in an apparatus which uses pressure and possibly heat.

Le matériau consiste en une feuille, ruban ou nappe (1) servant de support non permanent à une mince pellicule de revêtement (4) détachable au moyen d'un adhésif porté par la surface à imprimer (3). On applique l'adhésif sur les surfaces à revêtir et on fait adhérer la couche de revêtement sur ces surfaces dans une installation faisant intervenir la pression et éventuellement la chaleur.
