Abstract (en)
Phase/neutral conductor circuit breaker, including a modular box of standardised width whose base (1) is devised so as to be fixed in a rail of standard size, and designed such that, with the aim of according the cutoff chambers the largest possible volume, bearing in mind the standardised dimensions of the modular box, and simultaneously to lighten and to reduce the size of the lock mechanism, there is provision for the magnetic means (33, 34) to be situated in the immediate proximity of the operating member (5) and in contact with the spacer, so that on the one hand the distance separating the two parallel planes containing respectively the longitudinal axis of the magnetic means (90) and that of the pivot of the mobile rig is the shortest compatible with the minimum tripping couple for the said mechanism and, on the other hand, the whole of the central part of the volume delimited by the spacer and the shell opposite it, virtually to the top of the said magnetic means, is occupied at each stage by the respective cutoff chamber. <IMAGE>
