Apparatus for the closure of two-part capsules (S,C) comprising a support means (3) for an upper part (S) of the capsule and means (15) for applying to the said upper part (S) of the capsule a liquid which is intended to bring about a reciprocal joining between the said upper part (S) and the lower part (C) of the capsule, and/or the said application means (15) comprise an absorbent member (25, 35) intended to withdraw the said liquid from a reservoir by capillarity and to distribute it on the said upper part (S) of the capsule. <IMAGE>
